Re:Balans is being tested against today's standard of care in a new clinical trial at St. Olavs hospital.

New clinical trial underway at St. Olavs hospital, Trondheim University Hospital: we're testing how Re:Balans performs against standard-of-care in patients admitted with dehydration. Today's standard, manual fluid balance charts and blood draws, is labour-intensive for nursing staff and often lags behind the patient's actual status.

Dehydration on admission is common and can be critical. Studies show that half of the hospitalized patients are dehydrated, and in older adults dehydration has been linked to longer hospital stays and higher mortality.

This study is a good step toward bringing faster and more objective hydration assessment to the bedside.
